– la casa del caffè tazza d’oro — iconic coffee by pantheon (touristy but legit)
– fontana delle tartarughe — small square, turtle fountain, nice terraces

– best in the evening, food + drinks area
– touristy but fun

– trapizzino — elite street food, takeaway
– bar san calisto — cheapest drinks in rome, always packed (go early), no food
– trattoria da enzo al 29 — walk-in only, queue can hit 1–1.5h
– fiordiluna — proper gelato (lids on = good sign)

– 🎟️ book tickets in advance for everything
– galleria borghese — beautiful villa museum in a park (bernini, caravaggio etc)

– go out early (7am) → espresso + empty piazzas hits different
– walk everywhere, especially along the tiber
